My hair was finally ready to be cut off, the relaxed ends of my hair started to break. The last time I washed my hair before the Big chop, the ends of my hair were all knotted together that I could not even get the comb through my hair. I tried all my best to comb through but it literally didn't look good at all. Wednesday 23rd july, I was finally ready to Chop Chop. I took my scissor and stood at the front of my bathroom mirror and look at my hair for good 30 minutes. I wasn't sure if I will look good with short, started to think of what my fiance will think my family and friends will say, lol and my son's reaction.
This is how my hair looked when its wet. (Transition)
I felt so uncomfortable when I chopped it off, Lol even realise how small my head is. I was happy with the length my natural hair grew for 11months. I wore a wig for a week because couldn't decide what short hairstyle will look good on me.
Image of me and my natural hair. No longer hiding behind the wigs. I'm so proud of myself and in LOVE with my african crown god gave me. Now showing off my natural beauty. First attempted on twist-out hairstyle. It's been such a great experience Transitioning to natural. I am glad i've ended my journey even though it was not easy at all. Started my natural hair journey. Time for me to study my hair.
Big Thank You to J.Christ, my loving family and friends.
Recently moved to my new apartment so I've been really busy. Here are my images of the Faux Locs.
Styled up a bit different. I added brown Marley braids extensions at the ends of the Locs. I have had so many demands on this hair and on twists. I will soon put the images.
Hey lovelies, it's been two weeks since I have had the faux locs hair. I was unsure if this hairstyle will suit me but many people have been giving me good compliments and are also thinking that it's real dreadlocks .
The marley braid has a realistic look to the faux locs hairstyle. Having this hairstyle has been the best experience ever.
It's been a while, but I have been searching and trying to find the right natural hair products and hairstyles for my hair. Transitioning to natural is hard, really hard but like they always say,
"Nothing comes easy".
Here is my first attempt on Faux bun with a Kinky Marley hair. It's my daily hairstyle I have fallen in love with.
