No More Transitioning

THE BIG CHOP

I have finally done it, the Big Chop.
My hair was finally ready to be cut off, the relaxed ends of my hair started to break. The last time I washed my hair before the Big chop, the ends of my hair were all knotted together that I could not even get the comb through my hair.
I tried all my best to comb through but it literally didn't look good at all. Wednesday 23rd july, I was finally ready to Chop Chop. I took my scissor and stood at the front of my bathroom mirror and look at my hair for good 30 minutes. I wasn't sure if I will look good with short, started to think of what my fiance will think my family and friends will say, lol and my son's reaction.

This is how my hair looked when its wet. (Transition)

I felt so uncomfortable when I chopped it off, Lol even realise how small my head is. I was happy with the length my natural hair grew for 11months. I wore a wig for a week because couldn't decide what short hairstyle will look good on me.

Image of me and my natural hair. No longer hiding behind the wigs. I'm so proud of myself and in LOVE with my african crown god gave me. Now showing off my natural beauty. First attempted on twist-out hairstyle. It's been such a great experience Transitioning to natural. I am glad i've ended my journey even though it was not easy at all. Started my natural hair journey. Time for me to study my hair.

Big Thank You to J.Christ, my loving  family and friends.

XxX
